Our solution is using a small computer as Network Controller (NC). Network Controller is automated and self-reliant system with the ability to run and continue operation even if the WaiterPOS Terminal experiences power loss.

Some of the others advanced features of Network Controller are:
- Inbuilt management of order consolidation and distribution to up to 16 printers, with automatic backup printing system
- Automatic order transfer to the connected WaiterPOS Terminal and automatic synchronization with the WaiterPOS Terminal to provide bill collection and reporting
- Intelligent identification of system registered WaiterPad hand helds, with management of order flow from the hand helds
- Onboard storage of PLU, Clerk, and system critical information to allow self-reliant operation in emergency situations if the POS and File Server are inoperable for any reason
- User configurable printer mapping system allowing multiple uses for a single physical printer
- Up to 5 RF receivers per Network Controller, enabling a wide coverage area, with RSSI based determination of the best RF receiver in a multi-receiver environment
- 8 separate channels within each RF frequency used
- Infra-red or cable based emergency download backup system
- Onboard Electronic Transaction Journal
